I have once gotten the kick while opening the Steam overlay, so maybe there's a connection.

Checked the program running in the background. Since this morning Im constantly getting kicked by Battleye due to program 0. And removed anything with Punkbuster is designed to 10 minutes. No idea what this new program is since I havent installed anything new. Punkbuster is an obsolete and buggy anti-cheat service which is only effective against low-grade hacks which idiots can download for free, it is completely ineffective against the sort of paid subscription hacks that are available today.

There run that in Vista Compatibility Mode and see if that helps resolve the issue. This feature is not available right now. I haven't installed any new programs or drivers the last few months, so nothing has changed, however suddenly i get these errors. I'm pretty confident that it is something everyone is running but that we don't think about that is causing it, like the driver for my Razor gaming mouse, which has macros for the 14 or so buttons on it. XD OMG!
